The exact nature of this relationship is unknown, although it appears to be an old one.
There is clearly a lot of history here. Marcy said Jack was the first one, though she did not say what, specifically, he was the first of. There is considerable tension around his role.
Definitely a disturbing, however honest, friendship.
We have not seen them interact yet, though it has been mentioned that Dante is Marcy's favorite.
